I had a recent discussion with a couple of bumpies who had some celeb sightings and that made me curious enough to do a poll.

What celeb sightings/meet and greets have you had?

Me? I saw Steve Guttenberg at Brewzies in Boca years ago. And got to hug Carlos Mencia after one of his shows a year or so back.

Thats it for me. Nothing faint worthy.

Just saw Adam Sandler in Boca yesterday at J Alexanders. Before that, I have seen a bunch in NYC when I went to see shows. Vanessa Williams, Alanis Morissette, Bernadette Peters, people like that. I'm not really one to just randomly see a celeb around here though, especially in Stuart! haha

When I was in college I taught Gloria Estefan's daughter swimming at  their house.  Other than that - Melanie Griffith in LA.   I'm drawing a blank b/c I know i've seen others in LA and here.

i've seen jerry rivera, charitin, willie chirino, olga guillot (go figure all the hispanic celebs in miami) wyclef jean (saw him at the mia airport), remember the chick that used to sing "take me to the top" nadine renee (the 90's techno song...i saw her too)...i've also seen eric (from the 1st real world) and coral (from nyc real world)....although they're not really celebs...i saw coral at the lax airport and she was a real snob! ha i guess she is like that in real life!

omg and ive seen that lady that used to do fortune readings but turned out to be a fake...ms.cleo....remember her??? lmao!

• Gloria and Emilio Estefan at Bongo's Cafe
• Cameron (the soap opera guy from Dancing with the Stars), 2 other Days of Our Lives soap actors (Chloe and the blonde hottie)..It was a weekend celebrity cruise onboard Carnival!
• Katie Couric, Matt Lauer and Al Roker at The Today Show my senior year of high school.

Oh duh!  After 10 years working at the Sony Ericsson Open (AKA Lipton, Nasdaq, etc) I've met countless tennis players - you name them, I've met them.  Also lots of celebs that go there and sing there who I've had to work with.  That's always fun

Just had our first celeb sighting this weekend while staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. Saw K-fed (OK I know he's not really a celeb) at the food court actually getting his own condiments. He was there with his ex and their son. Apparently he's following Brittney on tour so that the kids can be with their mom. So security was TIGHT at the hotel all weekend long. Never saw Brit though.

I've actually seen a few (and the last three within the last 6 mo):
Steve Baldwin outside the Cocowalk movie theater
Mike Lowel (from Marlins) at church (we actually see him a lot in the off season)... and he used to live 2 blocks from my inlaws.
Gloria & Emilio Estefan once at the Boat show... and their son at UM (he attended @ same time as me).  Oh, and Gloria went to elem school w/ my aunt at St. Michael.
Alex Rodriguez having lunch at Whole Foods in South Miami (he sat at the booth next to us)

When I was little i met the blonde girl from Expose at Bayside.

Mike Lowell goes to my church...and once i sat next to him and got to hold his hand during the our father, lol (I dont thnk he was planning on this but I grabbed his hand anyways..ha).

 I saw Alex Rodriguez at Blu in sunset place a few months ago.

I've seen Gloria and Emilio a few times, diff. places.

Marc Anthony and Thalia in Bongos.

I used to work in a pre-school and Jon Secada's daughter was in my sister's class so we would see him every morning...yea big deal, lol

When I was working at Jackson, one night I took care of Christian Castro's baby.

I met Willie Chirino too but I cant remember where.

I know I've seen more but I cant remember. Now that I think about it, typical Miami to pretty much have met only hispanic celebrities, lol

We go to either the 5:00 or 6:30 mass in the evenings. And we sit on the side. What tiem do you guys go?

We aren't very consistent anymore on going at all.  When we were dating, we'd go always to the 6:30pm, and for the most part go to that one.  However, sometimes we go after breakfast at noon.  We also sit on the side, usually on the stage.

I am soooo jealous of everyone!!!!

Gloria Estefan was my IDOL growing up! I learned to speak Spanish because of her music and I followed everything she'd ever done, collected all her albums, and my first concert that I ever went to when I was 14 was hers in 1996 at the Miami Arena! I have NEVER gotten to see her around town, never met her or anything.

As for people that I have met... at concerts when I've gone backstage/gone early, I got to meet Tori Amos, Ann & Nancy Wilson from Heart, and the Barenaked Ladies.

I think I also saw Regis Philbin once when I was out with my parents.

That's just about it. I have not had much luck meeting anyone interesting or seeing any celebs while out and about.

I've had more luck chatting with them over TWITTER! Most recently I had a little conversation with David Lawrence the puppetmaster from Heroes. Cool guy.

Wow, you girls have seen A LOT of people! The closest I've gotten to a "Celeb Sighting" was walking by Jordan Knight (from NKOTB) in the Aventura mall like 5 yrs ago.
