Anna woke up over an hour ago and has already nursed some and is probably ready for her bottle supplement. Olivia is sound asleep in her crib. Should I have woken Olivia up when Anna got up? It seems crazy to wake her from a sound sleep!
I've tried it both ways, and usually regret it if I don't try to keep them on either the same or a staggered schedule (e.g. feed one, then wake the other right away and feed him, so they're only off by about 1/2 hr). If they're completely off from each other, then their naptime barely overlaps which means I have no time to nap myself or shower, do laundry and dishes, pay bills, etc.
i did until about 8 months, when joey started sttn, he is such a good sleeper, and likes to sleep in....whereas his brother is a horrible sleeper, and wakes up as early as possible..
joey will usually wake up about 30 min-hour after ronnie does..if he doesn't i will always wake him by 7:30 to keep their nap schedules together, and just to get him started....sometimes he could sleep so much longer if i let him!
i just go in the nursery, open the blinds, turn on the light and say good morning, and with that he usually wakes up happy ?

I will wake the baby up after I have finished feeding the first one. It helps keep them on the same schedule. We have been doing this since they came home from the hospital and now I rarely wake one up because they wake up on their own because they know it is feeding time.
The only time I don't wake them is at night because I am working on getting them to STTN.
Re: Do you wake one in the morning if other wakes?
How old are they?
We always woke the other up when one woke up...it eventually got them on the same sleep/feed cycle.
