Does your LO cry when someone else interacts with him/her

Until Saturday, DD was very easy going with other people. She was held, fed, played with, talked to by a lot of other people (family and friends). All of a sudden on Saturday she started crying if anyone else, besides DH or I, held or even talked to her.  I thought it was because there were a lot of people around on Saturday. Then Sunday, MIL, FIL and SIL were over and she was screaming when MIL went over to say hi. She wouldn't stop until I held her.  Is this normal at 2.5 months? Now I'm nervous cause daycare is starting in two weeks and I'm thinking she is going to freak out when she holds her.

    DS has definitely gone through some phases where he wanted me over anyone else and sometimes DH or me.  This sounds a little more intense so maybe she is just feeling needy...overtired, overstimulated, etc.?  I wish I could give you more advice, but I really don't know.
