Scared, Excited, I don't know what I feel.

I am 3 weeks late, and I took an EPT test tonight. It came up a plus on one side and a negative in the other little window. Confused... I went and got 2 of the Clear Blue & Easy Digital ones. They both came back "Pregnant" right away.  I don't know how I feel.. happy estatic, excited, scared, nervous, etc.

 My DH feels the same way I do, now what??  Do we tell our parents? Did you all wait?  I'm lost, but still excited ;-)

I'm pretty sure the test with the "positive in one window and the negative in the other" is a positive, and the test window (a single line that tells you that the test is working properly.  it's not a negative). 

I waited till about 7 weeks to tell my mom, to sort of get my bearings and enjoy the "secret" to myself and DF, and because of the risk (not to scare you!!!!) of m/c this early.

I told my parents right away after I got the confirmation from tthe dr, but I am not good at keeping secrets.

welcome and congrats!  i told my parents and siblings as soon as we got our BFP, but waited until the end of 1st tri to tell everyone else.  good luck!!

We found out on a Thursday and I think we waited about a week or so to tell both sets of parents.

DH and I felt the same way. We weren't really trying and figured if it happened it happened. But I know he was a little more scared then I was.?

First of all, congrats!

We were ttc, so we were really excited when we got the first bfp. We told my parents three days later. Because you are feeling a little confused and seem somewhat overwhelmed at the moment, maybe you should let it sink in for a bit and then share the happy news?!

Congrats and welcome! We told my parents right away since i'm super close them but told my DH's the next weekend (it was also his mom's b-day so we thought that would be worth the wait).  We also told our really close friends who knew we were trying, everyone else will find out at the end of the first trimester.

Congrats on your pregnancy! Ever baby is such a miracle and a blessing. It's normal to not know how to feel...but believe me... you all will come around and be so excited. It's just so new to you right now! Good Luck!
