soreness after weaning...

I fully weaned DD on Monday.  I called the lactation consultant to see what I needed to do if anything after her last feeding.  I thought maybe I should use cabbage leaves to dry them up, but she said that was just for engorgement.  She said that if I feel pain to self express or pump a little to relieve the pain.  Before DD was fully weaned, DD didn't really nurse much on my right breast just my left breast mostly that is why I don't understand why I feel fullness in my left breast and my empty right breast I have a little bit of pain on the bottom part of my breast.  Not sure what to do...I have tried to self express and nothing comes out on my right, but still have pain.  Will the pain just go away or should I do something? I am confused.  Help please
