spitting up a lot

We are going to the doctor next week so I will ask then, but in the meantime, I thought I would ask you what you guys think. I BF DD every 3-4 hours like normal, except she has started to spit up quite a bit of milk every time she eats. She doesnt seem bothered by it. Do you think she has reflux or is it something im eating that she cant keep down? She even spits up in her sleep...so I tried putting her on her stomach and she loves it. She sleeps great and barely spits up. Whats going on here?

I would ask the pedi about reflux and the stomach sleeping. 

My DS has reflux and we keep one end of his crib slightly elevated with paperback books.  Try keep her upright at least 15 minutes after each feeding and make sure you are burping her enough.

 

Some babies just spit up a lot and are happy about it though.

if she is happy on her stomach it is not reflux.  babies with reflux find being on their stomach painful.  more than likely, your baby just is going to spit up.  the doctor will tell you to keep her upright at least 30 mintues after she eats.  have more frequent and smaller feedings.  and that it is perfectly normal.
