I didn't w/ DD but I was induced 5 days early.  And only time will tell w/ this one.

I didn't lose it before I went into the hospital. I don't know when it came out- but I know it wasn't until I was in labor in the hospital. I had no warning signs before going into labor. I just woke up 2 hrs after I went to bed and was having contrax 5 mins apart.

yes, but I think it is really common not to notice.  Plus it can happen the day you go into labor or 2 or 3 weeks before labor starts.

My doula told me that not everyone loses it before giving birth.  She said she's seen babies born with what looks like a little booger on the top of their head - it's the MP!
