breastfeeding while pregnant?

I am new to these boards. I just found out that I am pregnant with my third child (it was a bit of a surprise because I really didn't think I was ovulating because I was still bf and not having a period). My youngest daughter is 7 months old and bf (she does also eat solids). I was done nursingmy oldest DD when the second came along but I would like to nurse my second for at least 18 months, or when she decides to stop. Anyone nursing while pregnant or nursing 2 kids at once?? What is it like? What are the challenges?

I nursed twins until I was 20 weeks pregnant.  One I think was turned off by the taste the other by low supply.  Both are things to keep an eye on.  I've also seen that some nursling will have some messy diapers due to changes in milk while pregnant.  My biggest problem was pain while they latched on.  I often had to count to ten in my head so I wouldn't recoil in pain.  It was that painful.  I was very happy to have nursed as long as we did considering the way we started.  I was sad that they weaned though.  I offered the breast again since the baby was born but even a few months since weaning, they didn't want anything to do with it. 

Weaning doesn't always happen, I know some mothers who just took a few weeks break (remember, nipple stimulation can bring pre term labor so know your body well).  You do NOT have to wean, just be smart.
