What I'll do for a stroller...

Oh dear...

So I'm cleaning things out and selling them on craigslist to save up for the kickass stroller that I want SO bad. I want the BOB duallie 12"AW (with accessories) and since it's sooo expensive, I'm trying to save up by selling things! I want to buy it by mid April since that's when it gets nice enough for walks and we are FREE to be out!

I just sold my old Sony Hanycam camcorder (that tapes to little tapes you dub to VHS - it was 8 yrs old), we now have the little FLIP camera that rocks (which we got on clearance from the curcuit city close-out for $100!), and now I'm having a couple come look at a HUGE floor mirror that has to go since I'm converting the room into a playroom for the boys...

I just think it's hilarious, but at the same time kinda feel thrifty! I wonder if I'll make the full amount that I need!

have you checked craigslist?  I got my DREAM stroller on there- in PERFECT shape - for $400 less than retail (the valco twin + toddler seat).

you have inspired me to sell more things i have a list of stuff to sell once i stop working (when i'll have time to list on ebay, etc).... 2 diaper bags, and a bunch of other stuff.

I 've been doing the same thing, saving for the Valco Trimode Twin... with the toddler seat and the accessories I want it will be 864.  I've made just over 900 in two months!!  Now I promised myself I would wait to buy it until the weather forecast showed ten consecutive 50+ degree days...

 I sold: Yamaha Keyboard,a Haier mini fridge, a sofa, a painting, a bookshelf, and a lamp.  

There's nothing better than turning all that 'stuff" thats hanging around into a big shiny useful stroller, IMO!

I wanted the black as well. There are snack trays? Do you have to buy the car seat converter for the snack trays?? Kinda confused. And you have the 12"AW right? I think you told me that will be easier for me to lift (since this will be our only stroller so it will be going in the suv too)?

Oh we are right there with you, actually selling our bob (although it's the single one).  We loved loved loved our Bob and used it from 6 mos on and my daughter's almost 5 (she's really big though, size 7 clothes) and she's just now outgrowing it. I am selling my Peg too to get new double strollers.  Gotta love that double strollers are double the cost! Ouch!!!

awe - so sweet. I saw that one - it's the "sport" version. I want the revolution (or something like that) with all 12" wheels. It's supposed to work better as a daily stroller

I have the BOB too - absolutely LOVE IT!!  I also have the sun / bug shade, works great as well   Good luck...I want to start selling some of our stuff too - ready to get it out of the house!  You are motivating me!
