Mesh Hospital Panties

First off, I have no aversion whatsoever to the word panties.  (If you do . . . sorry.)

Now - I know a lot of people don't like them, but I LOVE the mesh panties they give you at the hospital.  When DD was born I snatched like 6 pair to take home a wear for a few days.  Anybody else like them?  Tell me I'm not alone!

Re: Mesh Hospital Panties

  • LOVED them, I also stole many pairs before I left.  They are so comfy when things are so soar, and I didn't care if they got nasty because I threw them all away in the end.

  • Love 'em. I still have some fresh in the pack as well as some that I washed. I used to snag 'em and tell 'em I used 'em all to get more. Love, love, love those things.
Nutmeg, cilantro, sage, mint, thyme... these are a few of my favorite things! Visit The Nest!Visit The Nest! We have four children; one left us too soon.
  • I loved those, too. It was great that you could just throw them away when you were done with them. And no elastic to bother or constrict. Amazing invention.
  • funny you posted this. i was just thinking today when i threw on some granny panties how much i wished i had some of the mesh ones they gave me at the hospital when i had my daughter! those things are AWESOME.
  • They are comfy...I'm not gonna lie.  And you can't beat disposable panties!

  • I honestly can't remember.  Did you wear your hospital gown the whole time you were there also?  I can't figure out how much to pack for the hospital (I have some time still....)
  • Yep.  Loved them, too.  Not the most attractive things, but they are wonderful!
  • Yes, I LOVED them!  They were so comfortable, and you could just throw them away when you were done - no laundry to wash.  I wish I could wear them everyday.
  • omg, I'm so glad you posted this. They gave me a pair when I had my false labor and I LOVED THEM. My cousin had given me a huge bag of them left over from when she had her baby and was like "trust me...you'll want these" Well she was right. I sometimse wear them to bed. They are so comfy and they are great for after internals. If I had it my way, I'd wear them all the time. HAHA
  • When the nurse gave them to me to put on I was like..."are you serious?!?"  But then the love affair started between them and me.  I didn't snag enough pairs!  I ended up washing the 3 or 4 pairs I grabbed numerous times until they started falling apart, like 2 mos pp.  I was just comfortable in anything else, especially w/ the c/s incision.
