Am I the minority here? I'm wearing capris to my shower

Seems to me everyone is wearing dresses to their shower. I do like them, I just don't know if I can sit with my legs closed for a long period of time. Right now I am sitting and my legs are wide open.

But I did get this top for my shower to wear with black capris:

Its not black and white, I got it in a blue print.

You would look cute no matter what you were wearing. I agree with keeping your legs closed for long periods of time...that is quite a challenge!

I wore jeans and a nice top to mine! It was at my mother's and I wanted to be comfy...it was January and a blizzard and too cold for a dress

I wore nice jeans and a sweater to mine! Maybe it depends on where you live or your circle of friends, but the majority of the showers I've been too have been fairly casual - especially in the winter.

I wore a dress to my first one, it was a joint shower and I think I was the only person not in jeans.  I wore jeans to my second one and everyone else had on jeans.  Last night I had a work baby shower and wore khaki pants with tennis shoes (it was very klassy) b/c I refuse to wear anything but tennis shoes or crocs these days.

Yes, I was but I then changed my mind because my belly is getting really big. So I decided to wear something else.

I haven't decided what I'm wearing yet. My shower is March 27th, and it can be either really nice and springtime-like, or it can be a raging blizzard. I am really hoping I can wear flip flops because I think they will be so much more comfy! I have thought about gauchos since they're nice and stretchy, if I can find any.

I wore a dress to my first shower but I have a "surprise" shower tomorrow that I'll be wearing jeans to. They can't expect me to dress up if I'm not supposed to know it's a special event, right? Haha.

I wore capri's to my shower but apparently my shirt kept riding up in the front enough to show my belly.  No one told me this until halfway through the shower

Haven't picked out my outfit yet, but I know it's won't be a dress or skirt.  My SIL sat for almost 2 hours at hers with her legs wide open, opening her gifts between her knees.  Not very lady like, but comfy position for her.
