S/O BPA

So, here's my question...if they're taking all of the BPA *out* of baby products what are they replacing it with? How safe is the product they're replacing it with? I asked DH this the other day and we've been pondering ever since. I haven't seen any evidence that they've just removed it and didnt replace it with anything else. Thoughts?

FWIW, we're using glass until this whole thing is resolved just to be safe but its hard to find accessories (like baby food freezing trays, BM storage bags etc) without it sometimes.

    You shouldn't have to worry about the breast milk storage bags. ?BPA is only found in hard plastics. ?The concern about BPA is that that it releases toxins (especially when heated). ?Other hard plastics do not release toxins the way that BPA does. ?Hopefully they can just start banning the use of stuff they know is dangerous and make it easier for everyone :)
