diapers..

i know that it makes sense to have diapers on hand for babys arrival but what should i start with? 1 or 2 cases of nb diapers (up to 10lbs)? i have 2 cases of size 1's. any thoughts?

2 cases?? as in like 100 diapers? i think you're set

We have 2 packs of NB sized diapers: one being Pampers Swaddlers w/ the umbilical cord notch and the other being Huggies.

We will probably buy more Pampers though.

I would just start off with one case, or if it makes you more comfortable, buy 2 cases and tape the reciept onto one of them so you can return it if you don't use it.  Since you don't know what size baby you're going to have (a 6 pounder will need to be in NB's longer than a 9 pounder), the amount you need can really vary

i have one small pack of NB and figure that before we come home from the hospital, we'll know what size she is and can buy according to that.

My DH likes to plan ahead so we already purchase 2 boxes on Newborn diapers. There is 92 in each box. I figure those will get us through the first few weeks. Then we also purchase a box of size 1's. I am guessing that we will probably get more diapers from our showers but I am saving all receipts in case our little grows out of them too quickly!
