Update on my brother.

So I posted this morning that my brother was in an accident early this morning and was ejected from the vehicle. Good news is that he is going to be okay. He has alot of "road rash" on his back and a few spots on his head, arms, and body. He injured his shoulder, but it's not broken. All in all he was VERY lucky. He was the back seat passenger in the car. The driver sustained a broken collar bone/shoulder, broken knee, lacerated liver, and both lungs were collapsed. The good news is that he is stable now, but on a ventilator. My brother will get to come home tomorrow, and hopefully the driver will continue to get better and get to come home soon. He has surgery scheduled on his knee in the morning. My brother will have to go back in a week to assess the "road rash" on his back. If it heals fine on his own he'll be done, if not he will have to have skin grafts done. Let's hope it heals on it's own. Thanks for all the prayers. They worked. We are still praying for a speedy recovery for the driver. That's all for now. Thanks again.

Wow, that sounds really horrible for all involved. I'm glad that your brother is doing relatively well and I hope that the driver improves every day! Good luck to both of them!
