I get random formula in the mail every week

Is this normal?  I'm not sure what mailing list i'm on but I have about 30 samples so far.

    I somehow got put on a similac mailing list.  I have gotten about 4 or 5 cans of formula.  Kinda weird but nice.  I am planning on breastfeeding but supplementing with formula when needed.  So some free formula is cool.

    It is normal, you get signed up through things (ie. shopping at Motherhood Maternity, signing up with Babycenter.com, etc.).

    I got some similac today! But this is the first formula mailing i've gotten.  We've gotten diapers... single samples of them.

    Can I get on that list!  I don't plan to formula feed for the most part, but the problem is, if you need one or two bottles, you have to open a can and a can only last a month, so if I can't pump enough (never could with DD after about 4 months), then I would have to open a can if I wanted to leave her for a feeding, so basically, $15 for one or two bottles a month!
