Glucose Test

So my doctor sent my glucose drink home with me at my last appointment for me to drink today for this appointment. And it is DISGUSTING orange pop/sugar nastiness. Just wanted to share that with you all!

I didn't think it was all the bad. I just had to drink a dixie cup sized amount of it.  I downed it quickly.  

How much did they make you drink?

It really wasn't that bad!  I was expecting it to be disgusting but it tastes like really flat overly sweetened orange soda or something...plus its the only thing I could eat or drink that morning so maybe that had something to do with it..

I did this last week and I thought it was pretty good actually lol....I don't remember how many oz. it was exactly but it was a little bit smaller than a 12oz can so I'm guessing it was 10oz. I had to drink it in 5 mins but I didn't mind it!

I didn't think it was bad at all.  I suppose if you hate orange soda you won't like it too much.  I think I had to drink 10 oz and now I'm waiting for my results...

Same here! The only problem I had with it was that it scratched my throat a bit. It wasn't at all awful like I thought it would be.

I guess I am with the other ladies that didn't mind the Fanta flat taste that was sitting on the shelf for way too long, but its the only soda in the house. Honestly I downed the whole thing in 1-2 minutes. I found out today that I passed! So no 3 hr test, shots or special diets for me! At least this pregnancy. GL on your test!
