CW met Ferber

My CW & I where talking about babies sleeping. We always compare what time we got up that morning & got on the subject of baby sleeping. He said that his wife used to work at the Childrens Hospital & Dr. Ferber was there a few times. So his wife asked if they could sit down & talk with him. He said, of course.

 So they met with him & he had all these charts & answered all their questions. The one thing  he said was, babies who nurse don't sleep. They will most likely have a harder time sttn than bottle fed babies. That he also agrees with co-sleeping and that a lot of the things that people have heard are not true. That he is a really nice person & very down to earth.

 I thought that was so cool.

His book is a lot different than I was expecting - I don't follow it - it's a bit too lengthy for CIO intervals for me, but it is great information on sleep cycles, etc.  And even in there, he's not anti-co-sleeping.  It's a lot more inclusive and open to things than I thought it would be.

That's what I'm always telling people. His book is full of helpful information even if you're not open to any type of CIO sleep training. I learned so much from it.
