what did your mucus plug look like? In my birthing class the nurse said it will most likely look like someone blew thier nose in your undies, I know, super gross, but...I have had a little of this and wondering if I could start to loose it this early? There was no blood, but as far as I know there isn't always? Any personal experience would be appreciated...thanks ladies.

Yeah, your nurse is right.  It is kind of greenish if you ask me!  I didn't have any bloody show either, just the MP.  But I hear we shouldn't get our hopes up . . . evidently they can grow back!

A big blob of mucous partly clear and partly white. It can come out in blobs, strings, chunks. Trust me, you'll know when it starts coming out no matter what form it's in. Sometimes blood can be mixed in either brown or pink or red. Red usually with bloody show.

The doctor said I was "thinning" at my 36 wk internal, so I guess I'm losing it little by little.  Yeah, it looks like snot, and yeah, it could probably be happening to you.  I'm wondering if the last bit of it will be a giant chunk.  I am so preparing myself to be mondo grossed out.

Clear, very thick sticky mucus.  Pretty much like your CBE said.

FWIW, I never saw mine with my first child.  But I just lost my MP yesterday, and it was VERY obvious.
