How long after baby did your hormones go back to "normal"?

DH and I were just talking about this today and I'm curious.  Pre-pregnancy I was cold all the time and now as I'm nearing the end I'm hot all the time.  How long after the babies are born will I go back to being cold?  Will I stay warm while I'm nursing and still have extra hormones?  Just curious what your experiences have been.

And funny side note...when DH and I were discussing this he says "I think you have your next Bump post".  LOL

Just now getting back to normal for me after PG, BFing for 3 months and starting AF.

It was about 3-4 weeks for me.  I was SO hot while I pg.  DH would have the heat on in the car and I'd have the window open ... so unlike me as I'm usually cold!  I think some night sweats still occurred after the 4 wk point though.

I think it was about 6 -9 months before my body went back to normal after DS was born

I don't think mine went back to normal...but then my hormones weren't exactly normal before.  I never got AF, and I was losing my hair when I got pregnant again
