DS just turned two and he got an easel (and art stuff to go with it), a basketball hoop (for outside), a tee-ball set (again, for outside), a Fisher-Price learning laptop (he loves this!), a fishing puzzle and Pat Pat Rocket from the LIttle Einsteins. Of course clothes adn money from relatives as well.
We also have too many toys, so I was happy that we got some outside stuff for him. He's getting a sandbox for Easter. HTH!
does he have hot wheels? my son LOVES to play with his, he's got the 4 track race thing and plays with it al the time.
We have so many toys it's disturbing. how about taking him somewhere special, like a disney on ice show or a day at chucky cheese? a ball game? i try to avoid buying more 'crap'.
Do you have a train table?? Maybe some small things to go with a big item you already have (so if you have a train table get him his own trains). Wooden Blocks, puzzles and books, bean bag chair (my kids love theirs)
I think we're gonna get one fo those battery operated cars for them to drive. I wanted it for both the girls to use this summer and it seems like DD#1 gets all the "big" gifts since she's older. She got the kitchen, a bike (that will be handed down), and bounce house. So even though it will be shared, I want #2 to get a chance to get something big and exciting!!
Re: Birthday presents for 2 year old?
Outside toys? Like a sand/water table, cozy coupe, basketball hoop, bounce house
Books? I like those ABC books on shutterfly.

My DS is 2 today! I know he will be getting a soccer goal/ball, big train set (we already have a table), a tennis racket, and a My 1st Scooter.
Other good ideas for 2nd birthday are a tricycle, small bounce house, playset, wagon, basketball goal/ball, sand/water table, books, puzzles....
