BRU - exchanging registry items?

We have just received the umbrella stroller we registered for as a gift. While I'm psyched, the more I think about it the more I'm wondering if I can exchange it. We don't have any stroller yet but had registered for and planned to use a snap-and-go for the first weeks/months since the baby won't be able to ride in the unbrella stroller right away. Unless someone else buys the snap and go, I'm thinking I'd rather have it now and can get the umbrella later. So, my question is whether I can basically exchange the umbrella for the snap and go (they are both on the registry, and almost the same price) or do I need to do the whole add it to my registry and mark it as purchased bit in order to return the umbrella?

If the umbrella is on your registry, you can return it with no problems. They'll give you store credit.?

As long as the umbrella stroller is already on your registry, I don't think you should have a problem exchanging it.

You should be able to exchange for store credit. Even though you can't use your umbrella right away, I must say they are so nice to have when you can. We started DD in hers at 5 months while at the beach and it was a lifesaver. Much better than lugging around the giant stroller.
