NPR - What's the name of this movie?

I need the help of all you movie lovers.  It's been forever since I've seen this movie and I can't figure out the name of it. 

 OK, I think it was Lily Tomlin and John Lithkow, they live in a house where they make and sell LSD.  There is some sort of dinner party and they accidently give someone a bunch of LSD.  I think it's their long lost son, their other child gave it to him.  Some how the long lost son and his girlfriend end up at their house and they invite them to stay for dinner.

 

OK, that's ALL I can remember! Bad memory, I know!

I just went to IMDB and I don't think anything other than OC linked the two actors..  I'm lost.  lol

nope, not OC.  I think i may even be off on who was in it...could have sworn it was Lily!  this is going to drive me insane.  it's an older on, i'm guessing at least 15 years.  it was so funny but probably why i forget the name and half the movie is because I was partying myself at the time!

FLIRTING WITH DISASTER!  Lily was in it but not John, it was Alan Alda!  boy was I way off.
