And the fact that she's staying with him and apparently not pressing charges BLOWS my mind! She's so young and has so much potential and the rest of her life ahead of her and is not married to him and has no children! There's NO reason to stay with him (not that any of those are reasons to stay in and of themselves). Of course, I realize that it happens every day and is not uncommon. He's probably threatened her life if she leaves him. So sad!
what pisses me off more is that these celebrities make a public apology and consult a religious figure, counseling, or go to rehab and expect it all to be okay. That makes me sick thinking about it. How unfortunate.
That report states that Brown is extremely violent. I wonder how many times the two have had altercations in the past that were never admitted. Although Rihanna's jealousy over the message was what seems to have started it, Brown's actions seem even more guilty of more than just abuse, can we say possible infidelity. There is never a reason for abuse in that manner and I hope Chris gets exactally what he deserves, but it won't matter because Rihanna doesn't seem to have learned her lesson. She has put him under her "umbrella" to help protect him and help him regain his image.
It's sad, my son LOVES Chris Brown and although I still allow him to listen to the music, I have explained what has happened in his personal life and how wrong it is. I am currently in school for psychology to eventually be an advocate for domestic violence as well as victims of sexual assult. I hope Rihanna comes to her senses before it's too late and what were threats don't esculate into reality.
