At 5wks, DS is eating around 6-8 oz in one sitting....

ds is 6wks and when he gets pumped milk its about 6-8, its been like that too...i say hes training to be a football player lol

Anyway, I was letting my 5 week old eat 5 ounces occassionally and I got in trouble by the doctor.  She said that I should only feed her 3-4 ounces every 3-4 hours and that after that she is just sucking on the bottle cause it is there.  She said at this age they start to cry just to cry not real hunger.  I don't know how much I believe that but I have tried to pay more attention, but I say if they are hungry they are hungry.

I have tried witching out for the paci, but he freaks out. I really hope it is just a phase.

DS sometimes can eat 5-6 oz in one sitting.  It may definately be a growth spurt.  I personally feed on demand.
