Vitamins with iron & constipation?

We are just now getting DD to poop on her own after a few months. The dr wanted us to start her on vitamins with iron. He said it's not enough to constipate her but if we had problems to cut back to half.

Did vitamins give any LO's constipation?

The dr said there were some without iron but not to get them. I didn't see buy 1 kind.
