Where have you read the info re: the new contours stroller? I have been trying to find some info on when they will release the new version- b/c I want to get this stroller- but will be raelly PO'd if I buy it and then a month later the new one comes out :)

I don't need it until June (or later since i have a borrowed DSNG now)... so i'm holding out hoping the new one will come out soon with improvments.

I emailed Kolcraft a couple days ago asking them about this- since the Plus one in Twilight seems to be discontinued or not avail anywhere right now...i have not heard back from them yet.

can you tell me where you read/heard your info that you posted below? I'm dying to find out more! :)  I have a stroller fetish :)

    Hey sorry for the delayed response.

    I registered the stroller we have and sometime around December I got an email from them asking me to do a loooong online survey about the stroller and what components we liked and disliked.  In the online survey they said they would be making the new one lighter with a different kind of aluminum like the kind they use in airplanes and they would have detachable attachments like cup holders, etc.  But I honestly don't remember if they said when it would come out.  You can call their 1-800 number and ask.  I've called it before about a minor recall on the older model (I thought I'd had it but I didn't) for wider seats and they were really helpful.

    I would hold off on the craigslist stroller until you can find out when the new one comes out.  Call them so you don't have to wait too long to make your decision.

    thanks - i called and the woman said they are not making the Twilight color anymore... booooooo. 

    though i guess it would be nice to have the red one- b/c i have a red Phil & teds- so if we take all 3 kids out with 2 strollers we'll match ;)

    the woman didn't sound really knowledgable about a new release date- said they wouldn't have a new version until 2010 b/c they come out in january usually... so i guess i'll just buy one when the babies are born this spring.
