Anyone have bleeding after bm?

I already talked to the doctor this morning and will be going in when the office opens, but I'm just looking for some reassurance in the meantime.  Anyone have some red bleeding after a bm?  It was't a lot, just a few drops in the toilet and when I wiped, definetely came from the vagina.

Are you certain it was from your vagina? Bc that sounds like hemmroids. Im glad you called the Dr. GL

Certain.  It was mixed with the vaginal discharge.  Then after I talked to my doctor I had spotting on my liner and when I wiped my vagina (and only that) it was pink discharge.

I haven't had it come from my vagina.

I had it come from the other end, hemmoroids.

I've never had it from my vagina... only the other end.  Good luck, I hope everything is ok.

I didn't after a bm but did have unexplained, red bleeding in my first pregnancy around 28 weeks. While in L&D, one of the questions that was asked was did it happen during/right after a bm. The doctor said that the increase in blood to that general area is huge and straining while going can cause a vessel to burst, causing bleeding from the vagina. hth some. GL today.

I had that Sunday...except mine was more like a sudden gush of blood.  Really freaked me out, but I wasn't in pain, and the baby was still kicking like crazy (and it stopped), so I decided to give it a few hours of close monitoring before going to L&D where they told me that it happens, all was fine, and that I did the right thing.
