Making food with frozen spinach?

Anyone tried this? I have some frozen and would love to make it into baby food. Suggestions?

    not sure why - but my pedi told me not to make my own baby food with spinach or carrots - he said anything else is okay - just not that those two.   Something about nitrates???  not sure...

    There are some issues with spinach and nitrates.  Check out wholesomebabyfood.com for info/suggestions.
