moby wrap question

Hello! I just got my moby wrap today and am very excited! I got it on and got Evan in it and he loved it! The wrap was soo comfy to wear! My question is....the last step to putting it on is to wrap the pieces around your back to your front and tie in a knot, I am a bigger girl and it does not go back to my front to tie, is it ok to tie it on my back? I did and it seemed secure when having him in it but I just wanted to make sure. Does anyone else have to tie it in the back? What is strange is there is a pic of a bigger girl wearing her twins in a pic and she has it tied in the front, don't know why it does not reach for me???

Re: moby wrap question

  • It seems like there is a mile of fabric, but by the time I'm done wrapping it, I barely have enough to tie it in front and I'm fairly slim.  I am pretty confident I'm doing it right though.  It amazes me that it's not longer, actually.  Anyway, I'm sure that tying in the back will be fine as long as it all feels secure.  The weight is distributed in such a way that it's not pulling on the knot anyway.  So you should be good to go.  Don't you just love the snuggly feeling of having a baby in it?
