those who co-sleep

what size mattress do you have?  i don't really co-sleep, but DS ends up in bed with us sometimes for a little while after nursing and i'm paranoid.  we have a queen and i feel like he is either way too close to me or SO or way to close to the edge of the bed.  how do you co-sleep safely while still staying warm and comfortable yourself?

We have a queen.  We have an arms reach co-sleeper which is where he starts the night.  When I pull him into bed, it's between me and the co-sleeper.

initially i slept with DD in our full size bed with DH. he wasn't terribly comfortable so she and i now sleep on a twin bed in the nursery and its just enough room for the two of us to sleep comfortably. however, this is just a temporary thing until we can get a king size bed, which we plan on doing this weekend.

I would love to use a snugglenest. I've heard it makes transitioning to crib a little bit easier. I'll have to look into getting one...

We have a queen sized bed, and your right, by the end of the night, I'm almost falling off the bed becasue DS scoots to my side and I dont want to move him or he'll wake up.  The good thing is that we have started transitioning him into his crib, and he is actually doing very well.
