Hmm, should I wake him?

He got his shots yesterday and all he is doing today is sleeping, which is great. Except I am afraid he won't sleep tonight. He has really been asleep since 9:30 last night with a few feedings through the night, up for an hour between 10 and 11 this morning, and has been asleep since. Would you wake him up, or just let him sleep? I don't want him to be awake all night.

wow - that is a lot of sleep!  i would probably wake him.  if you do though, be prepared for him to be grumpy.

I was worried about this very thing yesterday after I got home from work and DD was a major crab b/c she hadn't taken a nap all day.  I put her down for a nap at 6 and she slept straight through until I woke her up at 9.  I changed her diaper and gave her a bottle then put her on my bed for a minute or two while I did something else, and she fell right back asleep and STTN.  So, the long nap didn't really affect her sleep at night.

i wouldn't. the shots take a lot out of them. if he is eating, then no. and it shouldn't affect the night unless he gets uncomfortable.
