Now that DD is officially 1 I'm curious where to begin. She gets 1 milk bottle in the morning and 1 before bed. Throughout the day she gets water or an occasional juice bottle. We're having the worst time with cups. She absolutely wants no parts!
I give her baby food for breakfast and lunch, and dinner she has whatever we are eating. On the weekends I tend to give her more table food for breakfast and lunch.
What are some good breakfast and lunch ideas other then baby food? Thanks!
Re: What does your 1 y/o eat?
Peyton is conpletly on table foods. Here are some ideas.
Breakfast - mini eggo waffles, cottage cheese and bananas, apple slices and yogart, eggs and 1/4 piece of toast.
lunch - lima beans, bananas, homemade mac n cheese, turkey slices, green beans,
dinner - whatever we are having
snacks - bananas, gold fish crackers, peaches, crackers and cheese
I understand! DD is the same way with cups. I introduced them around 7 months and here we are at 1 and she still refuses them. It's definitely not from the lack of trying.
DD does like table food. She's starting to get bored with the baby food. Hopefully your DD will get bored with it soon as well. I suggest just keep offering it to her. She'll eventually like something!
I pretty much always give my DD yogurt for lunch. Trader joes makes an organic "vanana" which is vanilla/banana combo and baby loves it! ?I also slice up one of their "this apple walks into a bar" which she also loves. ?She loves cream of wheat for breakfast with some apple sauce or even eggs with shredded cheese over them. ?
