Thanks! ?How are you? ?How are the little ones? ?I've been thinking about you a lot and hoping things are going ok. ?I know those first few months are SO hard. ?Did you find another night nurse? ?Have you been going it alone a lot during the days?
Thanks for thinking of me! I am doing good. It is getting much easier compared to those first few weeks. I am finding that I like not having "help" and do better when it is just me and the babies. Everyone that comes by to "help" makes me feel like I now have to entertain a guest in addition to everything else, unless it is my MIL or my aunt. We have our good days and our somewhat fussy days but I am learning to leave anything I have to do to when they fall asleep. I have also been taking them out everyday, with the exception of Monday and Tuesday due to the snow, whether it is to just go to the drive thru for some coffee or going to BRU or running some errands. I can't wait for the nice weather to come.
We ended up keeping the night nurse - who should be called a nighttime babysitter because she is definitely not a nurse. MH wanted me to give her another chance and we were only keeping her for 4 weeks. So it became to hard to find someone else to come for 2 weeks and we kept her. This is her last week and I am actually somewhat thankful she is leaving. It would irritate me more then anything when I would wake up and se all of the things she didn't do or how she didn't follow my directions on certain things, etc... I will fully admit I am a bit of a control freak so if it's not done my way or close to my way then it drives me batty. MH wants to have her stay for another 2 weeks but only for 3 nights each week and I am undecided.
How are you holding up? Did the kids get to play in the snow?
