I am so miserable I could cry.

Im a pre-k teacher so getting sick is pretty much just a part of my job but I have now been sick for 2 weeks with a virus/sinus infection that keeps me up all night blowing my nose, not being able to breathe, and coughing up a storm and  NOW in addition to all of that I got the PINK EYE that has been going around my room. I woke up at 3am to go to the bathroom and my eye was sealed shut with yellow gunk. Its so swollen that it hurts to be open.I just went to the doctor last friday cause I am sick and now I have to go back in tomorrow for the pink eye!  Ugh im soooo miserable! I even got up at 3:30am to take a shower to clear my nose/head. Ive been keeping my husband up all night with my coughing. Now hes terrified that hes going to get my pink eye too. Hes also worried about the baby. I read in one of my books that  when you are sick the baby is fine and has no idea anything is even wrong with you but im coughing so hard he said thats gotta make the babys heart skip a beat. lol. I hope not! Hope the babe is safely inside doing his or her own thing. But for me, im miserable....oh the joys of working with 4 and 5 year olds!

That sucks! I thought I had it bad when I got sick 2x in one month, you poor thing! Tell those little rugrats not to touch you, or douse them with purell before they come near you!

Oh believe me i do tell them not to touch me lol and I now believe no amount of hand washing will ever keep me from getting sick. I have been washing my hands so much at work to keep away from this pink eye that my hands have been completely raw the last couple of weeks but nope, still got the pink eye. Ugh it sucks!

I know how you feel.. I'm a preschool teacher but in a class of toddlers and I am so sick of getting coughed on and sneezed on. Everything they have I get! It sucks!
