yes, he had bronchiospasms that sent him into cardiac arrest.  he had to stay in the PICU for 24 hrs until his heart rate and O2 saturation leveled out. when they let us into his room, his HR was over 200.  he also had to stay for observation to make sure the chest compressions didn't cause any injuries, and to make sure the tests for lung infections came back neg.
