Wow! Awesome job! That's really cute! I want to learn how to crochet. I tried to teach myself to knit a while back, but I wasn't very successful! How did you learn?

Thanks! My grandmother actually taught me years ago how to crochet, but I didn't remember very well. So, I found THIS site and it was really helpful. The videos are easy to follow and there are more detailed ones that help you when you are making the little dolls (amigurumi).
So cute! I love to crochet--taught myself in college. Where did you get the pattern? Was it online by any chance? I'd love to make one for dd.
I got the pattern at www.lionbrand.com. You just have to register and they have tons of patterns. Search amigurumi and it's there for free, along with lots of cute ones.

Thank you!! (BTW, how long did it take you to complete it? I am looking for a gift to make dd for her birthday...which is very very soon!)
Sooooo cute! I am going to have to try it! I learned worked at a juvenile detention center in college and the girls there taught me how do it. Thanks for sharing and I am soooo impressed at how well that turned out! You should def sell it on etsy!

I started it last week and worked on it a little bit here and there in the evenings. It was probably about 3 hours worth of work total, especially since by the time you get to the last legs you basically have the hang of the pattern. Good luck!!
