2 Month Shots Question

My DD is getting her first set of shots tomorrow and my pedi said she would be getting the prevnar and pentacel bundles.  I checked these on the FDA site and they were approved only within the past year.  Have any of your children  been given these vaccines and were you given the option of the bundle or the old vaccines?

My LO just got the bundles last week. He only had to get stuck 3 times rather then 5. Prepare yourself, it was the saddest thing I have ever seen. I had never heard him scream like that.

we have our 2 month appt on friday with all the vaccines too... i am so nervous.  at her 1 mo appt just getting the Heb B alone made her sooo upset, i don't know if i can handle watching her get more than one... 

all these vaccines make me really nervous too, so here's hoping all our LO's are okay afterwards!

DD got these today....3 shots instead of 5, (and an oral vaccine) which is much better.  DD screamed so loud...but then calmed down about 5mins later and slept like a rock for 4 hours!  Poor thing!  She's doing ok now, just sore when you touch her thighs and will let out a quick scream every now and then....but she's currently coo'ing at the TV so she's feeling better   We've been giving her a 1/2 dose of Tylenol every 4 hours to help with the pain.
