Visitor from 3rd Tri wondering about stripped membranes

Sorry to jump the gun and join early, but I figured who better to ask about delivery and stripped membranes than women who recently went through it.  We 3rd tris are pretty clueless right now.

 I'm 38 weeks today, and my dr. stripped my membranes.  I was wondering how many of you had this done and whether or not it was successful.

 Congrats on your little ones!  Hopefully, I'll be joining in these conversations soon!!

Had mine stripped twice. Had to be induced at 41 weeks. It works for some, not for others.

I had my membranes stripped at 40 weeks 5 days.  I went into labor at 41 weeks.  Not sure it if had anything to do with my membranes being stripped of the fact that I was a week overdue.

Had mine stripped...I delivered a week later, but I don't think that had anything to do with it.

I had my membranes stripped at my 39 week appt and didn't go into labor for another week. They stripped them again when I went into labor and I dilated from 4 cm to 10 in 3 hours.

Had mine stripped at 39 weeks. Water broke immediately after Dr was done and had her 12 hours later! :-)
