I don't know how he did it but,

DH got DS to sleep after two hours of crying. I had decided to take a shower with DS to try and calm him, and by the time DH handed him to me, DS was out like a light. He even slept through the whole shower (which made it very easy to clean him up). I want to know his secret.

    My DH got DS to do that once too!  He wasn't crying for 2 hours but it was at least 30 mins.  All of a sudden he just stopped and went to sleep.

    thats awesome, i can't wait until DH comes home tomorrow so he can start soothing ds for me.  (he's been away for 8 days) 

    How do you take a shower with a baby so small? doesn't he get slippery?

    Nope. I do a cradle position, and he does not really squirm.

    Sorry your DH has been away so long.
