Small vent re: DH and being home

Why is it that when DH is home from work everything just gets chaotic?  Dh is home today and there are a ton of bottles that need washing and the breakfast dishes were still in the sink when I came home from picking DS up from nursery school.  I know men, in general, are not good multitaskers, but comeon-put your breakfast dish in the dishwasher!!  Uugh!

I've always said I feel more disheveled when my husband is home. I think I have such a routine that has built-in cleaning up, that it goes to pot when he's here "helping"

I have to agree with you a little..my DH was home from work yesterday due to all the snow..and everything was just a mess...I think part of it was just that we wanted to have a relaxing day and I wasn't in a hurry to get things done.

He got a little mad at me when I asked if he was going to work tomorrow (today)! lol

I always feel like my house is a mess when mh is home.  He will be home tomorrow because we have our big u/s and I am glad he will be home but I know I will be picking up after him.

Oh I hear you there. DH was layed off so he is home all day and trying to find a new job. Well you would think that he would clean or something while he is there. He did good the first few days, and now I still have to come home from working all day and clean and do the laundry. He has a death wish I do believe.

MH worked from home yesterday due to the snow also.  He did the same thing with the dishes and it drove me batty.  Plus he asked me if I could keep the babies away from his office - which is right next to the kitchen and living room - because he needed quiet time to work.  WTF - I would like some quiet time to work also.

I was so happy to see him leave this morning and my house looks so much cleaner now that he is not here.
