What meds for a cold that won't ruin supply?

I have had a runny/stuffy nose for weeks now but I've tried to avoid taking anything because I'm terrified that I will ruin my supply.  However, my supply has been dipping a little so now I'm thinking that maybe the cold is the reason??  What do you think?  Should I take something for the cold and if so, what?

    your supply wouldn't dip because you had a cold but maybe becasue you are a bit dehydrated.   Keep up the fluids and I think you'll see it come back. 

    I would avoid cold meds.   I noticed my grils were fussy when I took Sudafed.  I stopped after that one dose b/c i was freaked out it would kill my supply.

    Mucinex won't affect your supply.  Neither will Afrin, but be careful with it since it can cause rebound congestion. 

    Are you open to trying a Neti Pot?  They are awesome for congestion and have no side effects.
