 WARNING:: All drugs containing PHENYLPROPANOLAMINE are being recalled

STOP TAKING anything containing this ingredient. It has been linked to increased hemorrhagic stroke ( bleeding in brain )
among women ages 18-49 in the three days after starting use
of medication The FDA recommended that everyone ( even children ) seek alternative medicine.

They are asking you to call them at 800-548-3708 with
the lot number on the box so they can send you postage for you
to send it back to them, and they will also issue you a refund.

  • I got this email from my sister last week and looked it up on snopes.com to see if it's accurate (a great website for verifying all these chain emails!)  In short, this is true but out of date.  This list of started circulating in 2000, and since then many companies took that ingredient out.  You can check it out here: https://www.snopes.com/medical/drugs/ppa.asp

  • This drug was recalled years ago. If you happen to have anything in your medicine cabinet with PPA in it, it is expired and you shouldn't be taking it anyway.

    BFP 8/1/10, missed m/c, D&C 9/15/10.
    BFP 1/8/11, chemical pregnancy.
    BFP 3/4/11, measured behind all along, no more HB 4/18/11. D&C 4/29/11. HCG didn't drop, Repeat D&C 6/17/11; confirmed molar pregnancy 6/23/11.
    Forced break, including two Hysteroscopies in October to remove retained tissue.
    BFP 12/29/11! Betas @ 10 dpo = 85, 14 dpo= 498, 22 dpo = 7242
    Heard HB 1/24/12. 144 bpm!
