I saw your post below about HG and weight loss..

I have HG as well and lost 15 lbs before I started showing improvement. The only thing that has worked for me has been alternating dissolvable Zofrans and Reglan pills every 3 hours.

I was hospitalized twice in 1st tri (and treated with IV in my OB's office once) for how much I was vomiting and getting dehydrated, and as much as it suuuuucked to be stuck in a hospital bed.. it really helped to get those IV fluids and nutrients. When you're throwing up so much and your body dehydrates, you start releasing ketones, which in turn make you more nauseous. Getting the IVs were the ONLY things that would really help for about 8 weeks. Then we finally got ahead of the game and found a prescription routine that helps.. and I've been doing considerably better the last 2 weeks or so.?

I still vomit randomly about every other day, but it is NOTHING compared to vomiting 20+ times per day!

Also, just one more suggestion, if I had/have to be hospitalized one more time, my dr said I would have to get a medicine pump (of either the zofran or reglan)... doesn't sound fun, but if you really can't control the vomiting and weight loss, it might be something to consider.

I really hope you start feeling better soon. I know how miserable it is!!!!?

Thank you for the advice! 

I do take anti-nausea medication but not Zofran or Reglan.  Maybe I should ask to try that.  On this medicine I'm down to only puking once in the morning and once at night.  Which I thought was a great improvement. But the weight is still not sticking.  

My hubby and I are going to go to the grocery store and get Ensure shakes which seem to stay down OK.   And I we're going to try a bunch of small meals all day long.
