Amanda

I am definitely interested in getting T some swimming lessons, but haven't researched it yet.  Have you checked it out at either place?  It would be fun for T and Gavin to take lessons together!

Aw, that's so nice of you to offer. There is a Lifetime about 2 miles from my house :)

  • Yes, that would be fun for them to take them together. At Lifetime, it's $96 for 8 - 30 minute classes on Saturday at 9am or 11am. At Winkids the registration is for a year long. If we signed up now, it would be $180 for classes now until June 2nd.

Caroline - can you tell us when the next Lifetime class is? I think we missed the March session.

  • Here is the FM schedule. No need for thanks, I'm on this site for work now anyways:)
  • ooh ooh totally butting in, but I thought you had to be a member to do the swim lessons at Lifetime. That price is much more reasonable than what I found in Keller at Aqua Kids.

Oh that stinks.  I just cancelled my 24 Hour Fitness membership when I bought my treadmill, so I definitely don't want to join another gym.  I was just thinking that is so reasonable, price wise.  I don't want to spend a ton of money, especially at this age.  Hmph.

Yeah me neither! :( Aqua Kids is $193 and I thought that was a bit steep especially since she is not really going to remember. I just want to get her use to the pool.

  • Oh, yeah that does stink! This is partially why I work there part-time! I'm not 100% sure that you have to have a membership for this. I'll find out later today and let you know.

  • I'm going to search around and see what I can find. Surely we can find a fairly good deal somewhere?!
