We finally have our 20 week U/S next Tuesday the 10th. I am getting married on the 21st of this month and my sister wants to reveal the sex of our child during her Maid of Honor speech.. How the hell am I giogn to keep that a secret for 10 days!..... But atleast I can get some shopping started?

Hmmm.... my response is not so much about waiting for 10 days but why you want someone else to announce news that is yours? To each his (or her) own though! GL with that!

I think that telling the news at your wedding is a cute idea, but its your news! I think you should tell the news

I agree...is that what YOU want? If not, it really doesn't matter if she wants to reveal it in her speech or not, if you want to tell, it is your right to spill the beans whenever YOU want!

I agree with what pp are saying - I feel like this is news you should share. However, it is a super cute idea to have it announced at your wedding.  Are you sure you want your sis to take the glory??

She asked me first, and I think it?s a cute idea... She was going to work in it someway of saying...  Thank you Brett for making my sister very happy through out the years and giving her the gift of life. I can?t wait to welcome my Niece/Nephew into the world?

 

As long as my FH and I know, we don?t have an issue?.
