I wonder what it feels like when the baby moves? I haven't felt it yet, but I'm trying to pay attention. My doctor says a few more weeks, probably. Can anyone describe it? Also, when did you feel the baby move for the first time?
to be honest at first I wasn't sure if it was baby or gas, I first knew for sure it was her at 16 weeks 5 days. Some people say like popcorn, I felt like someone was flicking me from the inside (if that makes sense?)
I skipped flutters and went straight to kicks...it was just an odd feeling, kinda like someone punching you in your stomach, but low impact. First time I felt it, I wanted it to stop, lol.
I felt like there were bubbles in my belly around 18 weeks and since then the kicks are stronger feeling. I felt the first real movement a couple weeks ago. Now, it feels like a weird pop.
It started as slight flutters like a muscle twitching. Now I feel rolls and sinking feelings along with the flutters and kicks that feel like someone is tapping from the inside.
At first it was like little bubbles or someone tickling me from inside. Once they were really going, there was no mistaking. I can feel them rolling around and kicking my various internal organs!
The first was around 17w and DH could feel them from the outside around 22w. We sit and watch them kicking my belly in the evenings and it's the coolest!
We are expecting baby #1 and was really nervous that I hadn't felt much movement. It wasn't until after my 20 week U/S that I could for sure know what the movements were. I started feeling movement at 21 weeks and it hasn't stopped. I never sit still and I think that was probably why I wasn't noticing it before. Give it a bit more time... and then the fun will begin
