Jess, are you talking about the one with the cement cakes in the front yard? Those things always crack me up!
OP- you might want to try Nothing Bundt Cakes. They make super cute (and yummy) large cakes and then they have little bundt cakes that would make a nice smash cake.
I had a nurse at the hospital tell me the cakes in the store off 1709 are wonderful! She said they were a little pricey, but well worth it! I'm thinking about looking there when we get to that point... and I have also seen the one that the PP mentioned in Southlake.... They're probably wonderful too
I ordered DS's from The Cakery in Southlake. HIs b-day isn't until April so I haven't seen it yet but I can tell you I saw some of the cakes they were making when I was in there and they are phenomenal. They were making a fire truck cake that was too die for.
Re: 1st Birthday Cake?
I know there is a little bakery on 1709... Kind of on the way to Kroger.
I don't know the name... Sorry I am not more help!

They are in Southlake right next to Town Square.
Yes! LOL, but what are the chances the actual cakes are made of cement, right??
I have always thought that its really bad advertising to have concrete cakes in your storefront..... for that very reason! Concrete cake = not yummy
We got ours at Candy Haven in Denton. Here's a pic:
