Did anyone buy seperate rather than a set?

Did you not get the comforter?

Haven't bought anything yet, but I think we're going to buy separate.  Since the comforter is a no-no for the SIDS risk & I think we're getting the breathable bumper...I think we're going to just get a bunch of cute sheets in our nursery colors (blue & brown), maybe a bed skirt, and a cute valance/curtains.

still looking, but since i think i'm going without a bumper and you can't use the comofrter for more that decoration anyway, i think seperates will be the way to go if i can find ones i like. the prob is most cute stuff comes as full sets.

when I bought my DD's set...I barely use the quilt (it's not very cuddly) and we just started using the bumper.  I think this time I am going to buy each piece separately, so I only buy the pieces I need.
