So, I have been searching for alternatives to cloth diapers that are also eco-friendly.  A friend is using these cloth/disposable combo diapers, and she really likes them.  I think they look pretty neat.  I especially like that they are compostable/biodegradable/flushable.

 Anyone else planning on using these, or know someone who does?  Feedback would be great.  Thanks!

I plan on trying them at least.  I've heard that they are hard to flush.  But I've read that even if you throw them, they decompose in 90 days apparently.  Daycare only uses disposable diapers, so we might just use these at home.  We'll see.

No I looked into them but ultimately they seem much more expensive than both cloth and disposable so we're just doing cloth.

I also plan to try them and hope we love them. ?I know they cost more than doing cloth, but I love the idea of not having dirty diapers around the house. ?I also didn't want to get a set of cloth diapers for a newborn, and then another set of one-sized once the baby is big enough. ?So I'm starting with g's, and if we like them, we'll stick with them. ?If we don't, I plan to try cloth once the baby fits the one-sized ones. ?

I also saw some posts about them on the Eco-Friendly Family page, if anyone is interested.  (after posting, of course!)  I like the flushable factor myself, knowing that they break down so easily is great (but not having a diaper pail around the house would be awesome!)

There are some people who use cloth sometimes and flushies sometimes in with the G's.  It can help with the cost.

I have a friend that used them and she HATED them. Her son has skinny legs and she said they were extremely leaky. She gave them to me so I plan on trying them - but I am not holding out much hope.
