This weekend I went to try one with my favorite pair of jeans, and it just didn't work for me! I've got to find another favorite pair of jeans I guess. I hope you have more luck with the Bella Band than I did.
I have to say I'm not crazy about the bella band either or maybe i'm just not used to it, I feel like I am constantly checking that my zipper is still zipped!
I think the Bella Band is great at about 13-16 weeks, but lately these last few days I've been finding it uncomfortable as the day goes on. It's not too bad with most of my pants. I'll probably wear it and start alternating some maternity pants.
Pretty sure I started wearing my Bella Band at 9 weeks, lol.

Remember to wear it nice and low... that kept mine from slipping off. It covered my pocket tops, but otherwise was fine. Also, it works great for holding up maternity pants that "almost fit"... you may be able to start wearing some in a few weeks.... it really takes out the sag, and smooths any elastic lines. If your pants start falling down, just unfold it; that helped me too, plus it's extra warm.
I was able to get by with the elastic waist band jeans from gap...but right now I hate the way my belly button looks until it flattens out so I am trying to full panel maternity from motherhood...they are more comfortable, but I need to get used to them :-0. I never tried the bella band though, I think I would be paranoid of my zipper sliding down!

I got my first Be-Band at Target. They only had black but it's only $16.99 as opposed to $28 for the original Bella Band. It's great. None of my pre-pg pants button anymore, so I need the band or maternity pants.

Gotta love the "in-between" stage!
